The Tokyo Brief
A cinematic redesign for the team unlocking Japan’s overlooked real estate market.

THE BRIEF
A Tokyo real estate consultancy that helps international buyers purchase property in Japan, and handles everything after: sourcing, negotiation, renovation, tax, insurance, Airbnb setup. They work across languages and serve clients worldwide. The site had to meet a global premium standard, because that is who they are pitching.
THE PROBLEM
The old site buried all of that. Dense service tables, poorly composed team photos, renovation work dropped into plain grids with no context. For someone making a significant financial decision from the other side of the world, on a property they cannot walk into, the site gave no reason to trust it. The expertise was real. None of it was visible.
THE APPROACH
Japan became the visual foundation. A cinematic Tokyo skyline opens the site and sets an investment-grade tone, carried through in dark navy and gold. I reorganised the services into a clean accordion so the depth reads as clarity, not clutter. For the construction work, I built a custom content system in WordPress: before-and-after sliders and numbered process steps that turn each renovation into a proper case study. The team page I art directed deliberately, anchored by a pull quote from the co-founder.
THE RESULT
A site that finally matches the standard the consultancy works to. An overseas buyer can understand the offer, see the expertise behind it, and feel confident enough to reach out.
